Maternity Sessions

Even though pregnancy comes with a lot of difficult trials, it is an amazing time in your life. It is a time of celebration and of anticipation as you prepare to meet your little bundle of joy. It’s a time where you become strong – stronger than you ever thought you could possibly be. During this time, you create your initial bond with your child that will continue throughout your entire lives. You should take the time to document these changes and this amazing moment in your life. These photos will be a great gift to pass down to your child as an heirloom of your first memories with them. This is something they can treasure forever. Even if it's not your first pregnancy, they are all different and they are worth documenting.

Locations:

BEACH: I have a beach spot I absolutely love near San Juan! It has a mixture of rocks, white sand and ocean… simply perfect at sunset. It’s best to work these sessions during the week to avoid crowds. Sunny or cloudy, from experience, beach sessions are always beautiful. So don’t worry if its cloudy or overcast the day of your session, heavy clouds can paint both the sea and sky in beautiful colors. Always bring towels and an extra change of comfortable clothes, you might get a little wet by the end of the session. And no need to worry about shoes… barefoot during the session is best.

GARDEN: If you love nature and greenery, the garden style sessions are for you! These are done at the gardens of "El Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico", located in Ave.De Diego. From years of experience this spot is ideal to capture families and children. It has a very tranquil, distraction free environment, for children (and adults too!). Plus the natural light it offers is amazing.

OLD SAN JUAN: Old San Juan, Puerto Rico is a delight. We can photograph around centuries-old blue cobblestone streets, filled brilliantly colored historic buildings. If you love the Old San Juan style, sessions can be worked here on weekdays. It is very crowded with tourists and local activities during weekend, and it becomes a challenge to avoid photo boomers.  I have different route options to choose from, depending on what details of Old San Juan you love best.
